Project Competitive Crew was launched in 8 schools of Semi-English Medium from June 2023. In 2024 1 more school was added. 6 of these schools are under Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sansthan. 

The objective of this project is to create awareness regarding competitive exams among underprivileged children by conducting special practice sessions throughout the year for them in the school, providing study material, mock tests, tips and tools for attempting such exams and also by working with their parents who can be their support pillars.

  2025-26 is the 3rd year of our project. This year we worked with 4th, 5th and 6th standards. 4th and 5th had  special sessions but for 6th standard there were no regular sessions. We will gave them study material regularly and connected with them twice a month.  

In 2026-27 we will include 7th standard under this program. For 7th standard there will be no special sessions but we will be providing them with ample study material as they will be appearing for Scholarship Exams as per the new directive.

41 children appeared for MTS Olympiad, We have 5 Trophy winners, 13 Gold Medals and 10 Silver Medals. 

3 girls who appeared for Manthan Exam secured 36th, 47th and 66th rank in the State.

Similarly children have appeared for Rashtrabhasha, I am Winner, Aryabhatt and many more competitive exams.

Sustainability is one of the pillars of Segnavento India Foundation. In lieu of this thought we have started working towards sustainability after completing 2 years of the project.

The idea of sustainability for us is not that the schools should adopt CC project as is but they should adopt the thought and practices involved in this project. We have been implementing project Competitive Crew in 8 schools of which 5 schools come under ‘Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha’ (MKSSS). MKSSS approached us with a proposal wherein we teach their teachers about project CC so that it can be implemented by them on their own. Though we work with 5 schools of MKSSS they wanted teachers from their schools in Wai, Kamshet etc to know about project CC too. 

SIF will be conducting 2 workshops in the year and work hand in hand with 5 schools throughout the year. Monthly meetings are held for update and problem solving.

With this project we aim to enhance the vocabulary of children from 1st to 3rd standard in both English and Marathi language. We will be conducting half hour session thrice a week for this activity. The sessions will include Song, poems, stories and games. For 1st the activity will be oral, for 2nd & 3rd standards it will be oral and written. Currently we are conducting Baseline Test for the same.
